Thor: Ragnarok hits theaters on November 3rd, 2017, and I thought I'd do a prediction:
Thor (Chris Hemsworth) needs help tracking down Odin (he may or may not know that Loki was impersonating Odin) and goes to Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) for help. Together, Thor, Loki (Tom Hiddleston), and Doctor Strange go to find Odin. At this point, Hela (the new villain played by Cate Blanchett) overpowers Doctor Strange (sending him back to the Sanctum Sanctorum) and Loki (sending him back to Asgard). Thor throws Mjolnir at her but she breaks it and sends him to another planet where he is captured by Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson, who he instantly recognizes as an Asgardian) and made to fight his former friend, Hulk (Mark Ruffalo). Hulk is there because his spacecraft was found by this planet's collectors. Thor is fighting because he thinks Asgard is gone and there's no going back when in reality, it was Loki who made a deal with the Grandmaster (Jeff Goldblum) that if Thor wins, he will send help to defend and/or take back Asgard from the clutches of Hela.
Thor and Hulk throw a few punches, knock some stuff over, but ultimately, it looks like Hulk may actually kill Thor. Thor is able to turn him back into Banner, where he overpowers him. It looks like Thor may actually kill Banner when the Grandmaster stops the games (he does not want a crowd favorite dying).
Grandmaster lends his forces and together, Loki and Thor overpower Hela. Hulk also helps. They defeat Hela, find Odin (whom Hela had stolen) and Banner lives with the Asgardians a while longer (or goes back to the arena, ready for Infinity War). Valkyrie will also go back to Asgard. I don't think anyone will die, however. They want all their players for Infinity War. Also, Loki may fake his death (again - for, like, the fifth time).
I hope that Thor: Ragnarok will be as awesome as it's trailer song (Immigrant Song by Led Zeppelin).
