Solar Eclipse

Today something incredible happened that hasn't happened in 38 years --- the president was able to make it 24 hours without the White House phone ringing.
Kidding.
But maybe....
No.
Today, around 2:40, the Solar Eclipse peaked in where I live. It was about 87% coverage, and honestly.... it was okay. I had heard all these cool accounts about how it became dark, and the temperature dropped, and how it looked like a diamond ring, yet the 87% still wasn't much. It blocked out 87% of the Sun, and here are the things that make me criticise it:
1. It didn't get colder or darker
2. It looked more like the Cheshire Cat's smile than a ring, and
3. It didn't accomplish much.
But I guess it's wrong for me to criticise a natural event. What's gonna change?
Oh, well. At least I had a weird school schedule.
