Alright! I just got back from seeing Black Panther, and let me say:
It was astounding. Yes, it had weak points, but most of it was great. It was everything I wanted it to be, but like all movies, it had its faults. Let me tell you what they are.
Cons:
The score was out of place and did not sound right in some of the scenes. In one scene where characters are talking, there is violent music. This did not bode well.
Another thing the ticked me off was the pace. In Thor: Ragnarok, the screen time felt half as long as it actually was. Black Panther gained about 30 minutes.
Pros:
Everything else. The cast (Highlights to T'Challa, Shuri, Killmonger, Nakia, Okoye, Everett Ross, Klaue, M'Baku and Zuri). The action was AMAZING. Normally, I don't like the fight scenes in movies, and find them the most boring part, but this was fantastic. The end fight scene was jaw dropping, heart stopping, and all around great.
Deep thoughts:
Killmonger was a great villain. He had a motive and had a couple things right, even if he didn't do them right, unlike some villains that just want to end the world. Kudos to him. Chadwick Boseman as Black Panther was amazing, Shuri was great, and I really thought Everett Ross would die, but he didn't. Another thing is that it had enough humor to go around.
Spoilers:
1. Killmonger died
2. No Infinity Stones
3. Klaue died
4. Bucky makes an appearance
5. No Infinity War reference other than Bucky
6. The CIA is making deals with Klaue
