Psych: The Movie review/plot!

Image result for nick conforthAlright! Through the USA app, I was able to see Psych: the Movie, a telefilm I have been longing to see for awhile.
So, cool. What happens?
I'll do a little plot here, as both Wikipedia and the Psych Wiki have practically nothing about the plot.

3 years after Shawn and Gus moved to San Francisco, Shawn has opened up psychphrancisco, his version of Psych. The office resembles the Chinese guy's place from Gremlins. Shawn and Juliet are not married, as he wants to find his Grandmother's wedding ring before he marries Jules. This results in him spending most of their case money and dead ends to find this ring and even leading to some trouble with a kingpin.
Meanwhile Chief Vick's daughter, Iris, is being bullied and steals stuff and is caught by Juliet, who tells her to stop and not to hang out with these people.
Juliet's new partner, Sam, is critically injured by Zachary Levi (the Thin White Duke), resulting in the case that starts this thing. Shawn and Gus go to the hospital, where there is a police briefing and get kicked out by Juliet and run into Nick Conforth, their instructor from the police academy. He too was kicked out by Jules and tells them that Sam was one of his best students and that the night before he died, Sam called him, going something like this:
"Sam. I can't trust anyone."
"Even your partner?"
"Especially her."
Uh oh. Shawn and Gus start investigating and that leads them to a scary run down/abandoned insane asylum, where they rescue a guard dog and find a computer file that reads, "the Crimes of Juliet O'Hara." Shawn and Gus call Chief Vick over and Juliet winds her way there also and tells them to leave.
Bummed out, they go to the Observatory, which was Shawn's ruse to get Gus to go to the old creepy insane asylum. There, Gus meets Selene (played by his fiance), who is basically his exact duplicate.
Shawn and Juliet have different ways of coping with the Crimes of Juliet O'Hara (which is just a portfolio of certain illegal procedures Juliet has used to capture the badguy).
Juliet skypes Lassiter (Below).

Shawn has a dream where Juliet is Leia, Gus is Michael Jackson (I think), and Mary Lightly returns and they sing a song.
Juliet thinks that the badguy is her old informant, Billy McGoldrick (the Thin White Duke). I believe it was about this time they realize that Woody has been transferred to San Francisco and they inspect a body.
Then, Chief Vick's daughter, Iris, has been captured by the Thin White Duke. The gang, Shawn, Gus, Chief Vick, Woody, Juliet, and Henry (Who arrived shortly earlier), go to a top-notch abandoned prison on an island. There, they meet the real villain: Allison Cowley, the Yin-Yang apprentice. She kills the Thin White Duke and proceeds to divide the group.
Woody and Henry are taken on by a muscular woman, who proceeds to destroy them both. They are saved by Juliet, who takes out the lady.
Shawn and Gus are attacked by the Gentleman Black Ninja, who is an expert swordsman. He is taken out by Juliet too, I think.
Juliet also took out Allsion, who tried to engage in one on one combat.
Chief Vick goes and rescues her daughter, and they're all okay.

El Provedoor had been making appearances throughout the film because Shawn stole something of his (it turned out to be nothing). Shawn also had given him a psychic reading that was completely random but came true (mostly because of Buzz McNab), so El Provedoor found Shawn's wedding ring and proceeds to be the minister of their wedding.
As Shawn and Juliet (with Gus and Selene), are preparing to go on a honeymoon, Juliet's brother, Ewan O'Hara (John Cena), who is being chased by, I think, a SWAT team. Ewan gives Shawn a wedding gift and implores him not to lose it. The SWAT team proceeds to bomb out psychphrancisco, with Shawn, Gus, and Ewan going up the stairs to escape.
Then it ends.

So, my thoughts: It was pretty good. It wasn't serious, but it also wasn't absolutely hilarious. It was basically an hour and a half okay episode of Psych.

(Also, there is a "Gus, don't be a..." It is "Gus, don't be the comma in Earth, Wind and Fire").
