Alright! I have seen the sequel to the 1992 Batman classic, Batman Returns. And, here's my review....6.2 / 10 stars. It was kind of a disappointment compared to Batman (Which scored an 8.2). Here's why...
1. Too violent.
Batman Returns was violent, to say the least. It was also dark and moody and depressing. And gross. A baby ate a cat, a man ate a fish, and then tried to bite someone's nose off. Disgusting.
2. The Penguin
The Penguin was a wooden character. Yeah, it's what's praised most about the film, but he had no real motivation. In fact, he seemed nice and then went mean for no reason. It was weird, to say the least.
3. Not enough Bruce Wayne
This film may as well have been titled, Penguin & Catwoman. This wasn't about Batman. This was about the badguys. In fact, Bruce Wayne is only shown a couple times, one with Selina Kyle, once at a meeting, once at a party, and the rest is just minute long clips of him on a Bat computer.
But, what did I like?
A: Selina Kyle
Catwoman was actually the best part of this film, even though the character had faults. Like, when she wakes up and goes crazy, she is suddenly a martial arts master. Why? I don't know.
Anything else?
A: The score was okay.
The score was meh. Not as good as Batman's.

A: Nope.
