Alright! I have realized I have actually not done an opinion piece on the new Star Wars film, Solo. Plus, even I need a break from Infinity War and so on. So, here are my thoughts:
1. The guy they got to play Han seems good enough
I'm not sure who else the would've gotten. My range of young actors goes from Asa Butterfield to Tom Holland and that's about it. He seems okay. Not entirely like Solo, but enough you can kind of tell.
2. LANDO FREAKING CALRISSIAN
Lando is looking to be the best part of Solo. Donald Glover (Spider-Man: Homecoming) seems very much up to the task, and, from what we've seen, has nailed it.
3. It's like Rouge One
It's like Rouge One in the sense that all new characters will most likely be killed off, even that edgy droid I've become fond of, and especially Qi'ra, because they just have to get in a love plot that's not Princess Leia. It is also semi-long, being 2h and 23 mins.
4. Jabba the Hutt
I believe Jabba will be the gangster that needs a crew. This would be pretty sweet.
5. It will have some form of Sith
Well, it has a Star Destroyer. What's to stop a Darth Vader cameo? Or some new-not-Sith badguy (Like the new-not-Jedi Chirrut).
6. It will be an okay Star Wars film
Face it, it won't be the worse. Attack of the Clones has set the bar quite low for that.
7. Chewbacca will have a special lady
This is based off of a scene in the new trailer. Now, with Wookies, it's hard to differentiate gender. This could be a friendly head bump between Chewie and Tarful. However, it could be a lady (Not Maz).
8. This would be a good place to bring in Maz
Nothing I can say can possibly add to this.
