19. The Incredible Hulk
I'll be honest, I don't really remember the Incredible Hulk. That gives you a clue as to why it's at the bottom. Movies I don't remember often aren't the best movies.
18. Thor: the Dark World
Thor: the Dark World had several things wrong with it and seems bland in comparison to Ragnarok.
17. Iron Man 3
Iron Man 3 was okay. I didn't really like the Iron Man trilogy. They turned the Mandarin into an actor. Him being a terrorist was okay and extremely relevant. Him being an actor was meh.
16. Thor
Thor was okay. It was just full of that Asgardian Shakespeare rubbish. It's weird to see Chris Hemsworth so young, though.
15. Iron Man 2
Iron Man 2 was okay. It brought in Black Widow, who was awesome. It was just more Avengers set up.
14. Iron Man
Iron Man was also okay. Obadiah Stane is listed as one of the best MCU villains. Yet he is the one who people can't name. That bald guy in the suit. That's him. Want a name? No way! Want the actor? Sure! But when it comes to memorability, he's on the low end. Being a good villain comes from reason, fight scenes, and memorability. This guy didn't have good fight scenes or memorability.
13.Captain America: the Winter Soldier
The biggest problem with Captain America: the Winter Soldier is that it's boring. It's mostly political drama. And they defiled SHIELD, and raised weird questions like, How did Nick Fury not know how HYDRA had taken over SHIELD? And if they have that disguise-o face technology, why did they not utilize that properly in the film or in future films?
12. Avengers: Age of Ultron
Age of Ultron was the mildly disappointing sequel to Avengers. It had better costumes and new faces, but a less memorable villain, plot, and giant CGI army fight scene.
11. Captain America: the First Avenger
Captain America: the First Avenger was a fun film. A nice film. A 40s film with superhero action.
10. Captain America: Civil War
Captain America: Civil War was like an Infinity War preview. It had your favorite characters in a new setting. The only bad thing was the plot. The plot seemed unbelievable. The government forges a document that makes lifelong buds battle each other to the death? No way!
9. Guardians of the Galaxy
Guardians of the Galaxy was fun when it came out. It was bold. Marvel had taken the time to make 5 films for the Avenger characters before bringing them together. This did that in one film. It was the first funny Marvel film and took an unknown space group and people, like Groot, and turned them into household names.
8. Ant-Man
Ant-Man is a fun movie that made a relatively small ping. I liked it. I'm super excited for Ant-Man and the Wasp, as I hope it will fix the Wasp's character. When I first saw it, I was like, That's Wasp? Isn't Wasp young and good looking? The character we were stuck with was one dimensional and bland. Ant-Man and the Wasp looks like it'll fix Wasp. Having her have long hair and in the Wasp suit helps.
7. Marvel's the Avengers
The Avengers is harder to watch each time I see a new MCU film. Why? Well, it's missing all the great new characters, like Black Panther, Korg, Spider-Man, Bucky, and the New Thor. It's still an awesome and fun movie. But it's just like, Get on with not trusting each other! You're friends! And get Cap out of that ridiculous costume!
6. Doctor Strange
BENEDICT CUMBERBATCH! YAY! Doctor Strange is a great film bolstered by the aforementioned Benedict Cumberbatch, who keeps it clean in this fun film.
5. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2
GotG Vol. 2 is fun. It had a better soundtrack than Vol. 1 and more characters, without being burdened by bringing them all together.
4. Avengers: Infinity War
3. Black Panther
Black Panther was awesome. Do you need me to say more? It had a slow pace and an okay score with a great cast. WAKANDA FOREVER!!!!!
2. Spider-Man: Homecoming
Spider-Man: Homecoming was the best Spidey film and one of the best MCU films I had seen when it came out. Tom Holland is actually able to pull off an american highschooler, even if he is a brit. It's fun, vibrant, and has a realistic villain.
1. Thor: Ragnarok
I rank Thor: Ragnarok as the best superhero film. Why? It was unusual. I hadn't seen a superhero film that was entirely devoted to comedy before. And it worked! Taika Waititi delivers a fun movie that no one was expecting to be good.
