Alright! The first scene in the trailer is a desert. Where is this desert? I don't know. Deserts aren't exactly known for being distinct. It might be Tatooine.
In the image above, we see Rey holding a lightsaber. Luke's lightsaber. That's neat.
After that, we are treated to Rey running and then flipping over a Sith vehicle in slow motion Palatine style. Okay.
Next we see a new vehicle, not the Falcon (It has two lights in the back, whereas the Falcon has all lights in the back) going to a new city that looks inspired by the City of Ember, Underland or Haven City.
There are clouds and rocks, so we can assume that the city is near an ocean of some sort.

Next we see Kylo Ren taking some dude and slamming him into the ground, either killing him with his lightsaber crossguard or hitting him really hard with his lightsaber hilt and saving the man. Knowing Kylo, I'm surprised he didn't chop the dude in half. I also really like the snow and red sky and dead trees in the background. It's distinct.
Zooming back, it turns out to be a larger battle scene. Hey, look, a stormtrooper!
We also see a man with hairy wrists (Chewbacca? An Ewok?) re-forging Kylo Ren's smashed helmet, which apparently he kept the pieces of... on the ship that blew up... makes sense, whatever.
Finn and Poe have some sort of team-up on maybe the same planet that Rey was on earlier. I love
their new costumes. They both seem to have satchels, and those satchels may be holding something.
Let's see, we've had BB-8, the Porgs, and the Crystal Foxes. Meet Episode IX's new merch machine, D-O.
We also see Lando driving the Falcon with Chewie. His outfit seems to be very much inspired by Donald Glover's look in Solo: A Star Wars Story.
In this shot, we see Finn, Poe, and C-3PO all riding a land skiff type vehicle through a podrace canyon. Maybe. But hey, look! It's 3PO! That's already as much screentime he had in the Last Jedi!
The trailer also has a ship crashing. Couldn't find an image for it.
Someone, presumably Rey or Leia, is seen holding one of the medallions from a New Hope.
Here we see some of old footage of Leia and Rey, and she's crying. And the background looks like it's from a forest, so perhaps the same forest from earlier, after Rey has killed Kylo or something.
Now we see the whole gang, absent Lando, who is probably flying the Falcon, staring into the distance dramatically. I love the setting.
Now we see what the gang was looking at; a fallen piece of the Death Star. Maybe it's on Endor. Maybe the "No one is ever really gone" line was about the Ewoks!
But as they reveal the title, we hear Palpatine's crackle. So maybe Palpatine is in there and they'll fight him? He doesn't seem like he would be that big of a threat, considering there's like, 4 healthy young people versus one old crippled man.
Note to self: If trying to kill boss, do not throw down a Death Star shaft.

Now we see the title of the film; the Rise of Skywalker... but which Skywalker? Luke? Leia? Kylo? Hayden Christensen's Anakin? Maybe Rey? Or Poe? I don't know, but they did ruin that lame joke where the Force Awakens the Last Jedi to _____ creates a sentence, which the Rise of Skywalker does not do.
Yeah, overall, I'm not sure what major spoilers people are looking at in this. Palpatine's back, obviously, but that's obvious. I don't need a 10:18 Looper video and an 11:20 WathcMojo.com video to tell me what I missed. Nothing HUGE is revealed in trailers, maybe a vague plot outline (Unlike some film trailers, Toy Story 4, Far From Home, and Fallen Kingdom, the whole plot), new character designs and settings.
Don't look too much into it.
