the Lion King review!

Alright! Today I review perhaps the best movie Disney has ever made: the Lion King.

So, before you go catch the Lion King cartoon (Again), I'm gonna review the best one.

So, let's talk about it.

Image result for lion king 1994First of all, Elton John wrote the songs, and Hans Zimmer composed it, so I instantly like it.

And, the voice cast includes James Earl "Darth Vader" Jones as Mufasa, Matthew "Ferris Bueller" Broderick as Simba, Jeremy Irons as Scar, and Whoopi Goldberg as Shanzi the Hyena. So instant wins for everything.

Also, fun fact: Most of the senior animators at Disney did not have enough faith in the story and thought it would be unpopular, so they left the project for what they thought would be the better film: Pocahontas.

Anyways, I absolutely love the Lion King. I hadn't seen it in a while, and when I watched it about a year ago, I realized, "Holy crap. This film is actually one of the best I've ever seen." And since then I've loved it.

Okay, it's just a given that it's beautiful. You can tell it's beautiful. You know it's beautiful.
So I'll stop talking about it.

Basically, I love everything about the film.

And especially Ed the Hyena. Anytime he was on the screen, I was, like, dead it was so funny.

And Scar is legitimately scary. He's terrifying.

And this film has only one thing I don't like:

Image result for lion king mufasaThe Morning Report. It's a boring song. Not sure why it's in there. It's dumb. It's annoying. It's the one Lion King song I hate. And that's it. But it's only, like, a minute long, so whatever. \

One more thing, is that Mufasa's death made me cry. Legitimately. It was traumatizing. Mufasa is actually such a loving and caring dad. Everything he says is quotable. And then Simba curling up next to his corpse and trying to wake him up is actually making me tear up right now.

Sorry this isn't really a long review. It's a lot easier to review a movie with a lot of problems. There's more to talk about.

My overall rating is: 10/10, "The Lion King is perfect. It's amazing. And that's it."
