Alright! It is time to talk about the third Jumanji movie, Jumanji: the Next Level, which is the sequel to the soft reboot Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle.
Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle was astounding in the fact that it didn't suck. Sony was coming in hot off the disappointment of other reboots such as Ghostbusters, or just lackluster movies, like the Emoji Movie or Ghost in the Shell. They need a franchise, guys.
Well, enter Jumanji.
But let's talk about the movie. It is a fun and new adventure. I was wondering how they would make a sequel to the first/second one, because at the end of that one they destroy the game. But, surprise, the main character, Alex, fixes it. Good for him.
Of course, the biggest draw of the film is the all-star cast, including the Rock, Kevin Hart, Jack Black, Karen Gillan, Awakafina, Nick Jonas, Danny DeVito, and Danny Glover. That is a good cast they have assembled. And each one gets to do something different. Well, except for Danny DeVito. Danny Devito always Danny Devitos. Oh, and Karen Gillan doesn't do much that's different than the first/second one.
And since the premise is about the actors acting like different people, Kevin Hart and the Rock get to do impressions of Danny Glover and Danny DeVito, to astounding success. #theRockforBestActor #DannyDeVitofortheMCUWolverine
Another draw is the action. Oh my gosh, the action in this movie is incredible. They upped the setpiece game in this one very well. The new sets include:
And those aren't spoilers, that was all in the trailers. Well, these set pieces are all very elaborate and fun. They provide excellent action, tight humor, and really feel like video game sets, more than the first one.
For a humor action (Which is what I love), I would say that the movie starts off really slow. When they get in the game, it gets a lot better. The first movie was absolutely hilarious the first 20 minutes. I would also say this is on-par or below the number of jokes in the first/seecond film.
However, there is this amazing, amazing scene at the very end of the movies that I need as a gif that was absolutely hilarious.
Overall Opinion: 7/10, "Jumanji: the Next Level balances impressive action and amazing set pieces with fun humor and a horse."

Another draw is the action. Oh my gosh, the action in this movie is incredible. They upped the setpiece game in this one very well. The new sets include:
- A race across the desert (Against Ostriches)
- Moving bridges with baboons chasing them
- A snowy castle
