Every (Good) Marvel Movie ranked!

Image result for the amazing spider-manToday I am revisiting an old post I did way back when, but this time I've expanded it to including Black Panther, Infinity War, and a whole other films that I've actually seen now.

34. the Amazing Spider-Man 2 (2014)
the Amazing Spider-Man 2 was bad. Super bad. But mostly because it followed something so great (Spider-Man, which is #12) with something so pointless (the Amazing Spider-Man, which is #33) to this piece of garbage. I hate it. Andrew Garfield was a poor choice for the role, and it would've been way cooler if it was Donald Glover as Miles Morales.

33. X-Men: the Last Stand (2006)
X-Men: the Last Stand sucked. And when I say sucked, I mean that it was able to kill your favorite characters, butcher not only the comic book but also two awesome films, and made you extremely sure that Brett Ratner should never direct a film again.

33. the Amazing Spider-Man (2012)
Pointless reboot of an even more amazing film. The Amazing Spider-Man sucked not only because it was pointless, but also because they really forgot who Spider-Man is when making it. He is not a cool high schooler who gets the girl on the first try. Definitely less than amazing.

32. Hulk (2003)
I don't remember a lot about this movie other than the Hulk looked bad.

31. X-Men Origins: Wolverine (2009)
Image result for iron man backgroundlessThis was bad. But mostly because of the awful CGI claws and Deadpool. What happened to Deadpool?

30. the Wolverine (2013)
I fell asleep halfway through this. I'm not sure why I included it.

29. Spider-Man 3 (2007)
That dance scene. NOOOOOO!!!!! They were able to take a critically acclaimed franchise with strong characters and turn it into this....

28. Fantastic 4 (2005)
The Fantastic 4 still needs help.

27. the Incredible Hulk (2008)
The Hulk versus one of the most forgettable villains ever.

26. Fantastic 4: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007)
Slightly better than Fantastic 4. Galactus was a cloud. A cloud.

25. Thor: the Dark World (2013)
This was a bit boring with a bad villain (Not really bad, just bad a bad character), and all that Shakespeare stuff.

24. Iron Man 3 (2013)
Iron Man 3 was okay. I'm not really sure why everyone liked the Iron Man movies as much as they did. It's Iron Man.

23. Iron Man 2 (2010)
The introduction of Black Widow was cool. Other than that, it was meh.

22. Thor (2011)
Image result for mjolnir pngWas one of the tripods broken? It's all tilty. And a bit boring. Sorry, Lockhart, but when you make this and the 2015 Cinderella, I worry about Artemis Fowl.

21. Iron Man (2008)
Another meh Iron Man movie. Moving on.

20. Captain America: the Winter Soldier (2014)
This was actually really boring but was still exciting and tense with the action. Wondering how they did that.

19. Captain America: Civil War (2016)
Image result for captain america pngThis was REALLY boring. Yes, the airport scene was AMAZING, and Spider-Man was AMAZING, and that fight scene at the end was AMAZING, but it was really slow. Really slow. And long.

18. Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015)
This was just a step down from the Avengers. More heroes, better costumes, but just a bit less original.

17. Captain America: the First Avenger (2011)
A fun movie for everyone.

16. the Avengers (2012)
The first film of it's kind, with humor, all the heroes (Although 6 was pushing it in 2012), and all the plotlines (How could you keep track of them?).

15. Guardians of the Galaxy (2014)
Image result for groot pngGuardians of the Galaxy is set to the Awesome Mixtape Vol. 1, which is okay. It too, revolutionized superhero movies, turning an unknown team, combining them in one movie, but making it funny and with a great soundtrack.

14. X-Men: Days of Future Past (2014)
Timey-wimey, wibbly wobbely stuff. Malleable stuff that makes sure X3 never happened.

13. Ant-Man (2015)
Another funny super hero film. But this time, the stakes are smaller.

12. Spider-Man (2002)
Spider-Man was everything you wanted Spider-Man to be. Well acted, an excellent origin story, an actually amazing hero, and a truly frightening villain.

Image result for quicksilver png11. X-Men (2000)
The first Marvel film. Technically not the first, but the first one to be AWESOME!!!!

10. X-Men: Apocalypse (2016)
This was an okay movie. But it had Quicksilver as a major character, so that's better than the tease we got in Days of Future Past.

9. Avengers: Infinity War (2018)
Infinity War was that movie. You heard about it everywhere, you bought tickets a month in advance, avoided the internet for days so it wouldn't be spoiled, and then when it finishes, you are completely satisfied. It has now topped $2 Billion worldwide, becoming the fourth film to do so. It has the Guardians, it has Iron Man, Thanos, the now popular Thor, Loki, Spider-Man, everybody. And I cried. "Mr. Stark.... I don't feel so good."

8. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 (2017)
Guardians Vol. 2 was fun. It was funny, it had an even better Mixtape, a better villain, although it wasn't quite as awesome as the first. But it had Baby Groot, so whatever.

7. X-Men: First Class (2011)
This is the best prequel ever.

6. Doctor Strange (2016)
Inception on steroids with Benedict Cumberbatch. I love it.

5. X2 (2003)
This was awesome. That opening scene where Nightcrawler infiltrates the White House... that was pure spectacle. And awesome.

4. Spider-Man 2 (2004)
Image result for black panther pngThis is one of the best sequels ever. Doctor Octavius is an excellent villain, Spider-Man continues to develop, and this is definitely a defining Marvel film.

3. Black Panther (2018)
Wakanda Forever. Is that enough? Or do I need to delve into how amazing this film is? I'm fine with going through it. It grossed amazingly, it was well acted, written, and that fight scene at the end was awesome.

2. Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017)
Spider-Man Homecoming is definitely the best Spider-Man movie and interpretation we have ever had.  Tom Holland is the perfect actor for Spidey, who has a bright costume, a real moral crisis we can all relate to (Wanting to be something better, putting duty before friends). It's just fun, motivational, powerful, and awesome.

Image result for thor v hulk fight1. Thor: Ragnarok (2017)
Thor: Ragnarok was funny. But not just funny. This was a comedy. And I like comedies. I never thought I would see a superhero film where it's more comedy than anything else, but here it is. This is bright, colorful, fun, and all around AWESOME. An outstanding film, Led Zeppelin, and Taika Waititi in the director's helm. Just pure amazing (Especially after Thor: the Dark World was disappointing).
This transformed Thor, boring, Shakespearean, and noble, into a guy who is awesome, funny, and has short hair.
And it's full of colors. I like it when movies have colors.
