Alright! In about 3 days, we have gotten two new trailers for films I am excited for:
Wreck-It Ralph 2: Ralph Breaks the Internet and the LEGO Movie 2: the Second Part.
Wreck-It Ralph 2's trailer was great. It showed us the Disney site, and, to be honest, I wasn't sure about the Disney Princesses at first. They seemed to be mocking themselves. And what happened to Cinderella? Breaking the slipper was funny, but what about her hair? What happened there?
But I think that if they focus on the more recent and popular princesses, Mulan, Merida, Elsa, Rapunzel, and Moana, then they'll do fine.
the LEGO Movie 2: the Second Part has had me worried.
One: It is directed by Mike Mitchell. I don't like him.
He directed Sky High (Which I like), Trolls (Which I hate), Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked (Which was meh), and two things critics hated. He does not seem like the guy for a LEGO movie, which are known for being somewhat sentimental and deep. Why not stick with the Miller guys? They (Almost) did Solo.
But then I saw the trailer. It looks good, seems to use all LEGO elements (Which I was worried about after the LEGO Ninjago Movie), and I like the tagline (They come in pieces).
